Now that we have no more reason to skip class, it's time to bitch about school. I still can't believe we're back to being at school at Greenville.

With UNIFORMS.

I guess it's a nice trip down memory lane, but it sucks that we can't keep our hairstyles or length.

If anything, at least we're starting back at Secondary 3. We still have a chance to actually change our academic careers for the better.

...Except that we'll have to follow through with our school choices at GCE Os. At least going through the classes a second time will be a lot easier.

A brief silence.

I appreciate days like these. Ted's just texted me that he's playing Magic the gathering at some place in the East. I don't have anyone to worry about, and it's just a quiet day.

A day I get to myself, and not have to worry about ~the timeline~. Melanie texted me and asked me if Ted's any different recently, and I kinda ignored her text until much later. Hahaha.

I wonder though, how we'll approach our old friends when we finally meet them again in this timeline. I do miss having Hunter around to just troll Ted with. Or having someone like Dahlia around because she was pretty spot on with how to mess with Ted.

I'm still a bit bitter about being back in 2008, but I guess I'll enjoy what I get.

And now, it's time to enjoy some good old fashion Red Alert 2.

You're delving too deep into this world, or this time. Some things are just not meant to be changed. I know it seems so cynical and counter what we agreed upon, and don't take it the wrong way--but what if we can't change that your sister or Felicity dies?

What if they're the fixed points of time? What if they are literally the only two constants in the chaos?

What then?

There's nothing wrong with treating both Mel and Felix much better in this timeline. There's nothing wrong spending the time we managed to steal from the universe with them.

Just remember you have to break Felicity's heart in 2009, and prep yourself for Mel in 2010. We might not be able to change it, but we can try.

Side note, I placed our bet for Obama being president. 500 bucks from each of us on 5:1 odds. We'll be looking at 2.5K each. 

We better go eat something better than McDonald's once we win the bet.

Dammit.

I get that I'm not a good man.

But I tried to be a good man after dating Dahlia.

I tried to be a good friend to Theodore.

I'm just super pissed right now that I'm stuck with Ted in 2008. I blame Ted's bloody fucking mouth for saying stupid shit like going back into time.

So looking forward to taking the O Levels again. So looking forward to having to watch every step I take now, in case I somehow fuck up the timestream. So looking forward to having to see Kari.

And at the same time, it's good to see Melanie again.

Perhaps in this timeline, Ted and I aren't too late to save her.
